The Centrality of Advanced Digitally ENabled Science (CADENS) is a National Science Foundation-supported project to help increase digital literacy and inform the general public about computational and data-enabled scientific discovery. Does your scientific inquiry depend upon access to advanced cyberinfrastructure (ACI) such as high-performance computing or large data analysis? CADENS is looking for advanced digitally enabled research that generates and/or analyzes data that the CADENS team might visualize as part of a series of documentaries for public education/outreach; CADENS might also incorporate data visualizations that you have already created into these documentaries.
Through this call for participation, CADENS expands visualization opportunities and distribution; and broadens the impact of science teams working with data enabled by ACI.
CADENS invites you to fill out this form to submit your scientific research and/or your visualizations for consideration for inclusion in a series of fulldome digital films and television documentaries.
The selection for CADENS projects is unlike typical science proposal reviews. Consideration involves visualization experts, a science advisory committee, and other stakeholders in an ongoing process to incorporate and feature a variety of science stories that will help raise public awareness about the importance of digitally-enabled scientific discovery.
NOTE: You can save the form and return to complete it later. Enter your email address and click the "Save and finish later" button. You will receive an email with a link to return to this form to finish it later.
